  We were passing through from LA to TX and found this place through Google reviews. Such sweet character! The owner was so kind and accommodating. The boudin balls are so, so good! They even had really yummy corn dogs. The three meat plate was enough to split. FANTASTIC

  I've eaten barbecue in North Carolina, in Kansas City, in Memphis and all over Texas, and I'm pretty sure this is the best dang brisket available. The owners were wonderful, offered my wife and I some fried turnip greens - on the house - which were delicious. The portions were massive, I couldn't even finish my meal....and believe me y'all....I'm 260lbs, and I can eat.

  If you want awesome BBQ and a great place to relax , this is the place to go. You can sit inside or on a porch with so many neat items hanging on the walls to look at. And talk about desserts ! If you love homemade pies and cakes you have to try them out at The Hitch N Post Cafe. A friend of mine told me about this place I'm so glad she did. Go give them a visit you'll be glad you did too.......

  Thank you Billy Ray Nelson for such a warm welcome to a bunch of first time customers. The food was outstanding and service was amazing. You made my fathers birthday celebration even more special. We wish you much success and we will absolutely be back many more times! Oh and if whoever reading this is a fan of onion rings, you will be blown away at the size theirs! My daughter called them Monster rings, Nuff said!
